With its new e-business platform, Nemef offers improved services and business opportunities to customers.
Nemef has seen great developments over the past few years, both as a company and within the ASSA ABLOY Group. Often, developments have been internal, but now the time has come for customers to really feel these improvements.
In February 2010 the Nemef Export division launched a project which placed customers at the heart of its value chain. The project covered orders, invoices and other commercial communication flows in more than 60 countries. Global E-business platform, Mercury, delivered by ASSA ABLOY Group IT was quickly identified as a key component of this project
12 months later, on the 17th of February 2011, the first customer entered an order via Nemef’s e-shop. Several pilot customers have proved eager to begin using the new online solution, which offers them new business opportunities and efficiency improvements. “This new tool comes in very handy, regardless which distribution channel it is applied to, OEM, retail or wholesale“, says Jens Kirchhoff, Export Manager at Nemef.
With this new service, ASSA ABLOY and Nemef have again showed customers worldwide their industry leadership, setting them apart from the competition. Ultimately, this is a first step in tying customers and partners securely into the value chain of ASSA ABLOY Netherlands, and building strong, sustainable cooperation as all parties look toward the future.
